I’m Katrina Christian, founder of Wellwise Woman and Wellwise Girl.

I’m a qualified teacher, menstrual health educator, mother, speaker and facilitator.

My work began with menstrual wellbeing because so many girls and women were never given empowering, practical information about their bodies. Instead, many of us learnt to stay quiet, push through pain, feel embarrassed, or assume that suffering was just part of being female.

But this work has always been bigger than periods.

At its heart, Wellwise is about helping girls and women feel safe in their bodies, connected to themselves, and supported through the transitions that shape them through puberty, adolescence, body image, friendship changes, motherhood, perimenopause and the ongoing work of becoming who we really are.

The body we were never taught about

We help girls and women understand their bodies, navigate friendships and build confidence

Your Period Was Never Just a Period

Wellwise education goes beyond “what a period is.”

We explore the deeper conversations girls and women need;

- body trust
- self-worth
- emotional changes
- friendship stress
- pain
- hormones
- boundaries
- self-advocacy and knowing when to seek support.

Because understanding your body is not just biology.

It is about having the knowledge, language and confidence to make informed choices about your own body.

Girls and women deserve to know their bodies well enough to ask better questions, seek the right support and trust themselves when something doesn’t feel right.

Empowering Mother & daughter

Hi parents!

I’m so glad you’re here.

Whether your daughter’s first period is years away, just around the corner, or already part of her life, now is a powerful time to begin the conversations that help her feel safe, informed and connected to her body.

Through workshops, private ceremonies and Wellwise Clarity Sessions, I create nurturing, empowering spaces for girls and their mothers to connect during life’s big transitions; puberty, periods, body changes, friendship shifts, confidence and growing up.

My work is about more than preparing for a first period.

It’s about changing the stories girls learn about their bodies, so they can move through adolescence with more confidence, wisdom, self-trust and heart.

Wellwise Clarity Sessions

Wellwise Clarity Sessions are private, supportive sessions for parents, girls and women navigating body, confidence and wellbeing transitions.

Whether you’re supporting your daughter through puberty, periods, friendship stress or body confidence, or you’re moving through perimenopause, overwhelm or a season of change yourself, these sessions offer a calm place to pause, ask questions and work out your next best step.

This is not therapy, medical care or a diagnosis — it is practical, body-literate, evidence-informed support for the moments when something is shifting and you don’t want to figure it out alone.
