What a period is (gentle, basic explanation)

This workshop focuses on the foundational social skills girls need to feel more confident in forming and growing friendships, particularly during times of transition such as the move from primary school to high school. Students explore how to be approachable, how to approach others, how to start and maintain conversations, and how to build connection in new environments.
The session also supports girls to navigate changing friendship groups, manage the uncertainty of new social settings, and handle the first year of high school with greater confidence. It includes practical strategies for joining groups, moving between friendship circles, and responding when friendships begin to shift.
