The Body We Were Never Taught

So many girls and women are moving through major body transitions without the language, support or confidence they deserve.

Australian research shows that many girls begin menstruating before formal school education begins

Many students feel periods affect participation in activities, sport and school at some point

National menopause research has identified low community awareness around perimenopause and menopause

Your Period Was Never Just a Period

Wellwise education goes beyond “what a period is.”

We explore the deeper conversations girls and women need;

- body trust
- self-worth
- emotional changes
- friendship stress
- pain
- hormones
- boundaries
- self-advocacy and knowing when to seek support.

Because understanding your body is not just biology.

It is about having the knowledge, language and confidence to make informed choices about your own body.

Girls and women deserve to know their bodies well enough to ask better questions, seek the right support and trust themselves when something doesn’t feel right.
"We will definitely be doing this again!" - Teacher feedback
